Kucing sarawak...猫之旅

After the exam, just felt like wanna relax...out of sudden decided to go Kuching, Sarawak. this time the organizer was Kylin.

This was the first time i went by flight..kind of nervous but pity my darling cant go with us because of exam..never mind one day will bring him there..but i really like orang kampong..so scared when the plane depart and landing..but now sitting in flight is nothing special for me already..

As expected,Kuching is a place of food heaven..lots of delicious chinese food can be found there, for example.. siu mai, kueh chap, ketchup mi, sarawak laksa,meta hon(1 kind of drink like ice-kacang but with lemo- very refershing after drinking it) ko lo mi, 'zeng' (soup with lots of pig organs andpepper powder eat with mi)..it is true..until now i still miss the food there especially the Sarawak laksa.

We went to Damai with the purpose of visiting the Damai Cultural Village. Luckily we were still students that time. Otherwise need rm50, while we just needed to pay rm20 only..so worth it! We could see so many many cultural costumes, home deco, pretty ladies with their traditional full costumes, traditional houses in sarawak- long house, traditional games and handicrafts. Evem with rm50 also i still feel that is worth it..Once you stepped out of that village, we have learnt all the Sarawak different races people and their living styles.

we were staying in one of the resort there..i like the swimming pool
there..clean and clear..and we can also go to other resort's swimming pools too

Other that that, we even took the boat to go over the river..only 30 cents. we went to 1 'haunted' place known as mageritha castle that it wan being left out so long..that place was a police museum last time.there was a particular place where the culprit who was sentenced to death will be chopped down their head ..sound scary?? but we were enjoying ourselves there..

We also stepped in the Semengoh Orang Utan rehabilitation center. We had to jungle trek for few metres before reached the exact place to see the orang utan. From far can see some baby orang utan plucking food from the big tall tree. but among us, we are already the alps.

other than that, there is one restaurant cafe that catch my memory a lot..cant really recall the name but the decoration really put me into another world..somewhere with greenary environment, waterfall, Buddha statues and also food of course. we tried the fried soft crabs..wah..delicious...

of course, this is the main course. my 22th birthday was celebrated there. groups of friends were there with 'melted' ice-cream cake with no plate to eat..imagine melted ice-cream cake eaten with hand..however, it is still delicious. i can feel my friends hearts for celebrating with me.

this trip really have to thank kylin and aunty june for bringing us to so many places..eating so many nice and yummy food..nearly forget about the seafood there..the 'tek tam' 1 kind of sea shell food is so yummy n juicyyy...the fried oyster..i never tried before fried oyster that can be eaten like keropok..i am swallowing my saliva. let's stop reminishing it...will rock in kucing again..
